Closet Organizer Design
Closet organizer design does not have to be an impossible or expensive process.
Gone are the days of having just a wooden rod hung between the two side walls. Better yet, custom closets aren’t just for new home building. Today you can literally custom re-design your own pre-existing closet by taking advantage of available closet accessories.

You also have a wide variety of different closet organizer material to choose from. One of the most common is the module white wire racking system. Very easy to install and customize. From there you can get as specific to your taste as you would like.
Complete kits are also available and usually will consist of a combination of matching shelves, racks and storage bins fitted together to create one unit. For almost every closet, its main purpose is for hanging clothes. With a little planning, you can accomplish this goal. But even by simply raising the bar, you can almost always get enough room for a second bar. This one process can basically doubling your space in one simple step.
The trick is to do a little pre-planning and self-evaluation when you start to plan your closet make over project.
To start, simple make a list of what you goals are out of the project. What type of items do you have to store? What are the measurements of the closet? What kind of budget are you dealing with?
When installing any of the shelving or racks, you want to make sure that you use proper anchoring systems. Most kits that you find will have complete instructions include. If are installing your system in a dry walled closet, ideally you will want to find the studs and screw the attachments into the stud. If you cannot find the studs, or if the stud pacing does not match up with the shelving needs, then you will want to use drywall screws that you can find at almost any hardware store.
Unfortunately, people have a tendency of overloading their closet organizers. If they are not properly anchored, you can have catastrophic result. A little precaution during the installation process and eliminate a lot of headaches down the road.
You do not usually need any special tools for most closet projects. Most can be install with a drill, screw driver, level, hack saw and a little patience.
With a little pre-thought into the process, and a little creativity, you can create the closet of your dreams. Extra storage and organization in your closet organizer design can be both affordable and functional at the same time.
